Fun Vacation Visitor and Tourist Guide for Jupiter Florida

Jupiter Florida

Do you want a fun vacation for the whole family?  A romantic getaway? An action packed adventure? Jupiter, Florida has something for everyone!

Jupiter, Florida  is a popular town located in Palm Beach County, Florida with a population of over 50,000. Jupiter has been known for being home to one of Hollywood’s brightest stars and to the country’s most brightly colored lighthouse. Burt Reynolds has lived on his large ranch in Jupiter for most of his film career.

The most notable landmark and symbol for Jupiter is the brick 1860 Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse. It was painted red in 1910 due to discoloration caused by humidity, but now has a lighter shade of red. The lighthouse and a museum in honor of Burt still attract scores of visitors to Jupiter.

The Intracoastal Waterway passes through about 380 miles along the entire eastern coastline of the Sunshine State. Jupiter shares this beautiful waterway along the way and you will see stunning waterfront homes, private docks, some serious yachts, and busy boating lanes. It's an ideal way to see the area by boat. For boats with tall masts, there are draw bridges along the way.

Jupiter has developed a park called Riverwalk which is a 2.5-mile course along the beautiful Intracoastal Waterway. The
park will wind its way from the Jupiter Inlet to the Jupiter Ridge Natural Area.

If you enjoy activities such as swimming, sunning, scuba diving, snorkeling, boating, fishing and hiking, Jupiter is the place to spend some time! The warm and humid subtropical climate with an average annual temperature of 75 degrees makes it a winter destination for many tourists.
